كان الشعراء يلتقون في سوق عكاظ ليُسمِعوا ويستمعوا. نعيد إحياء هذه الأجواء في مكتبة جامعة حمد بن خليفة. نادي عكاظ ملتقى للطالبات لقراءة الشعر العربي ومناقشته وتذوّقه.سيقتصر النادي في البداية على الطالبات الناطقات باللغة العربية، وقد يتوسّع لاحقًا ليشمل الناطقات بغيرها

Dear Students,
At the market of Ukath, poets once gathered to recite and to listen. We're reviving that atmosphere at HBKU Library.
Ukath Club is a space for female students to read, discuss and appreciate Arabic poetry. It will initially be limited to native Arabic speakers, and may expand later to include non-Arabic speakers.
